King Lear

This production of King Lear was framed in Afghanistan. At one point the director told me of a conversation he had with his wife about the thunder around their home and that it was so loud, continuous and overwhelming that it sounded like bombs going off. So I ran with this idea and paired a thunder clap with an explosion, adding a heightened sense of reality to the storm.
