Trelawny of the Wells

For this production the director wanted to emphasize the sheer devastation that had occurred during the war and that the women where now living in. To help this we wanted to start abruptly and then move the audience into a less comfortable, fragile place, yet still a place that had been devastated by war. So after a bit of stong music we moved to atmospheric sounds, laced with "lullaby" music, which gets cut under with the metallic sounds and moves into the whispering which brings us into the world of the actors and the play.
